Tampa, in Florida, in the middle of the peninsula on the left side, is the place where when I am old I would like to find a nursing home and stay there until the end. Because what you see in movies dreaming of seniors retiring to Florida is true.
But until then, I went and visited a few places there, just looking for beautiful places, wonderful beaches, and things to do. Tampa is a city in a bay with an exit to the Gulf of Mexico, warm, clear water, and perfect temperatures. It is in turn divided into several areas, including St. Petersburg (the American one, not the Russian one), Clearwater, and Tampa. Linked together by lighted roads and public transport buses, each with its own charm.
St Pete Beach Florida in St Petersburg

With such beautiful weather, it has earned the nickname “Sunshine City,” and St. Petersburg has award-winning beaches, renowned restaurants, state and national parks, great shopping, breweries, farmers' markets, and outstanding cultural experiences. It holds the title for "most consecutive sunny days".
We stayed right on the beach at the Dolphin Resort, a 3-star hotel with good services and an acceptable price, because I have to tell you that if you plan to come to this area, the hotels are very expensive.
We paid around 120 dollars per night for 3 people. Located right on the beach, it allowed us the classic holiday by the sea. Swimming pool, sandy beach and swimming in the sea. The water is absolutely wonderful, warm, smooth entry, and perfect for bathing.
You can find restaurants, bars, shops, and everything you need for your vacation on the beach or behind the hotels. One of the most beautiful evenings was the one in which we went to the sky bar on the highest building on the beach. Level 11 Rooftop Bar. A hotel bar, obviously, with a wonderful view. We also opted for a sunset cruise on one of the days.
You can also opt for the Sunset Cruise.
We chose to do this trip with Dolphin Landings which is the only charter boat center in the Tampa Bay area and offers sunset cruises aboard large Ketch sailing ships.
Massage for the brain. You will find a lot of peace in this relaxing cruise with DolphinLandings which takes you on the waters of the bay all the way to the sea. Because the vessel is sailing, the speed is low but there is no noise made by any engine.
All the houses on the shore have a pontoon, one is more beautiful than the other, and there are entire residential neighborhoods right on the water. A kind of Cosmopolitan much neater but located by the sea. We also passed by the dog beach, the beach where all the dogs in the area meet. Soft drinks and water were included.
I took some sensational pictures that I share here with you. Such a trip costs 55 dollars per adult and children under 6 years old are not admitted. The departure location is Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center 4737 Gulf Boulevard St Pete Beach FL.
It is right across the street from the Dolphin Resort hotel, so for us, it was very close. According to Tripadvisor, it is one of the most recommended companies departing from St Pete Beach. After our visit to Florida, we were left with many wonderful memories and the cruise with the people from Dolphin Landings is one of them, that's why we want to thank them for this invitation.
They also have other types of cruises besides the Sunset Cruise. They have Dolphin Watch every day where you can see the dolphins and it costs 50 dollars for an adult and 40 for children up to 12 years old or you can choose private tours. You choose.
Clearwater and Tampa City Pass

On one of the days we went to visit the Clearwater area, to see the beach with crystal clear water. An alluring combination of white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, Florida's Clearwater Beach is the perfect destination for some fun in the sun. Clearwater Beach is one of the Sunshine State's most famous beaches, loved for its powdery white sand and crystal blue waters.
In addition to its long list of accolades and being placed on numerous "Best Beaches in Florida" lists, it also offers beachside fun for all ages, from water sports and cruises to waterfront dining.
Things to do and visit in Tampa Bay

With the help of those from CityPASS who gave us passes for Tampa Bay, we were able to see the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and took a trip on the water with The Tropics Boat Tours Dolphin. I've said it before but I'll say it again - CityPass is the best option to see many places in America and save money.
Its price is 129 dollars per person and includes the entrance to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay where the entrance is 126.84 dollars, The Florida Aquarium which costs 36 dollars, ZooTampa at Lowry Park the price is 45 dollars, Clearwater Marine Aquarium where the entrance is 36 dollars, the Museum of Science & Industry price is 13 dollars and The Tropics Boat Tours Dolphin or Sunset Cruise which costs 30 dollars. So, as you can see, the price is exceptional, and you can basically save 53% if you manage to go see all the attractions. From 273 dollars you will pay only 129.
From the first time you use it, it is valid for 9 days. I will tell you below what we were able to visit with him. Due to lack of time, we didn't manage to go to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we needed a whole day, which we didn't have.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium

With a strong dedication to rehabilitating aquatic life, Clearwater Marine Aquarium is also the famous home of Winter and Hope, the dolphins from the hit movie "Dolphin Tale".
We visited assistant sharks named Thelma and Louise in Shark Pass, saw North American river otters in Oasis Otter, and saw Cocoa the turtle. We walked in the underwater glass tunnel and stayed to see how the animals are fed there.
It's amazing the work people here do for injured and sick animals. You need to know that you are not going to an ordinary aquarium, but to a facility that works to heal and release animals into their natural environment when possible, a place of care for those that cannot be released due to their injuries.
A great place for children to become familiar with marine life and conservation. People should take the time to slow down and enjoy the presentations, chat with their animal care staff, a great boat ride, and behind-the-scenes stuff including the hospital. Not to mention the food is great and their special events are fun for the family.
There is also a kind of boat ride, which I have never seen before at an aquarium, but it is paid for separately. Entrance to the aquarium is 36 dollars for adults and 27 dollars for children, and the boat ride is 20 dollars extra. It is a special and different aquarium that is worth seeing, especially if you purchase CityPass Tampa.
The Tropics Boat Tours Dolphin

So I went and saw the dolphins and admired the most beautiful houses of the celebrities. After taking several dozens of pictures, we happily went to the beach. Attention, here you have to make an appointment online or by phone because it is always crowded and you risk not finding seats at the time you are going.
As I said above, if you don't have a CityPASS, the price for an adult is 30 dollars and 18 dollars for children up to 12 years old. There is a Happy Hour tour where a $5 voucher is offered with which you can order soft drinks.
Whether you're enjoying a date night, celebrating with friends, or just enjoying some time, see the seascape at its most magical time of day. A champagne toast is included and other drinks are available for purchase onboard.
I had heard that they have one of the most beautiful beaches in America, and if I was still in Florida, I didn't want to miss this wonderful place in any way, even though it was quite difficult to get to from Orlando, but it was well worth it. With many low-key restaurants, plenty of activities, playgrounds, and nightly shows, Clearwater is one of the most beautiful areas in Florida,
Yes. Florida is like in the movies. Starting with Miami and ending with the small towns on the coast. Everywhere you go it is warm and the area is full of greenery. It is America's "sanatorium" for good reasons. But it is extremely attractive for tourists and there is no room for it not to have something to offer!
